Recovered fiber. Ring crush and burst rise with basis weight, so set the weight against the stacking load of the box.
At the mill
SCT index already takes basis weight out, so SCT moves with bonding, starch and fiber orientation. A higher burst target calls for virgin kraft fiber in place of recovered fiber, at least in the top ply.
