Virgin-fiber liner for the outer faces of corrugated board. Higher burst and ring crush than testliner.
At the mill
Burst needs strong bonding and an even sheet, and a sheet whose strength is closer to equal in both directions bursts at a higher pressure. SCT index already takes basis weight out, so SCT moves with bonding, starch and fiber orientation.
